What you will be doing:

  • Compensation Analysis & Design: Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure competitive pay practices. Assist in designing salary structures, job classifications, and incentive programs.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking studies to assess the competitive landscape and ensure the Apogee's compensation practices are in line with industry standards.
  • Job Evaluation: Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate functional roles and salary grades. Partner with Operations to align internal job classifications to Performance Work Standard (PWS) labor categories.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, equal pay laws, etc.) and adhere to best practices in compensation management in accordance with Apogee's Compensation Management System.
  • System Support: Support the administration of compensation systems, ensuring that data is accurate, timely, and effectively communicated across teams.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Contracts, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to develop compensation strategies and resolve compensation-related inquiries.

Benefits:

  • Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Job Summary

The responsibilities associated for this position include the development and/or review of all Authority positions, competencies, job descriptions, classification levels, compensation, and reclassification requests. The position is also responsible for the strategic development and maintenance of the Authority Workforce Planning and Staffing Models including assessing new position requests. The Senior Director of Classification and Compensation supervises employees within the Classification and Compensation Unit in the performance of duties related to job descriptions, classification, workforce planning and staffing models. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the strategic development, implementation, and administration of the Authoritys Classification and Compensation System, including leading a team of Compensation Analysts.
  • Develops and/or reviews all Authority positions, competencies, job descriptions, classification levels, and compensation rates.
  • Create and maintain various compensation policies and procedures that align with the Authoritys goals.
  • Provides recommendations and advice to Authority Leadership on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Reviews requests for employee classification changes and recommends appropriate action to be taken, if any. Also regularly reviews classification levels for current positions in the Authority.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation best practice trends and Authority objectives.
  • Develops new salary charts, calculates costing of proposed salary charts and salary adjustments on small and large scales.
  • Performs routine job analysis studies in various divisions and offices on position related issues that address staffing needs and maintain internal equity.
  • Collaborates with finance and senior leadership to forecast and plan for the compensation of the workforce required to support the Authoritys strategic plans.
  • Compiles complex data and metrics to provide leaders/managers with easy-to-use reports and tools to determine the impact of their compensation decisions and priorities for future workforce investments.
  • Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal compensation laws and regulations.
  • Conducts classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
  • Responsible for reporting and communicating updates including presentations to Authority Leadership.
  • Oversees the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure Authority compensation objectives are achieved and aligned with the market.

Your Role on the Team

Reporting to the Compensation Program Manager, the Compensation Analyst functions as a subject matter expert and provides consulting services to Community Network hospitals' local HR team, leadership and employees regarding compensation, classification, incentive program and other ancillary pay issues. Processes represented and non-represented approved wage programs, such as across the board increases, equity, step increases, etc. Conducts job evaluations and compensation analyses, and develops communications and resources as needed. Assists the local HR teams with the planning and implementation of new classification programs and strategies for the Community Network hospitals as requested. Interprets and applies Human Resources policy and procedures, as well as Collective Bargaining Agreements and state and federal law as they relate to compensation. Ensures compliance with all federal employment laws as well as regulatory agency requirements. May assist with compensation services outside the Community Network hospitals as necessary to help balance enterprise-wide workload.

Uses skills and experience as a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of compensation concepts. Resolves complex issues in imaginative and practical ways where analysis of situations and data requires a review of a variety of factors. Position Summary

The Manager, Total Rewards will support both the Benefits and Compensation functions at e.l.f. and will work closely with many stakeholders, both within the People organization, cross-functionally and with external vendors. The position will contribute to a wide range of projects and support the e.l.f. Team with various deliverables throughout the year including bi-annual people discussions, benefits open enrollment and equity administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, design, planning and implementation of compensation, benefits, and wellness programs (Total Rewards) for the e.l.f. team across all geographies
  • Partner, consult and collaborate with business leaders and the People team to develop Total Rewards strategies that effectively attract and retain talent
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to legal requirements in compensation and benefits practices
  • Stay informed of emerging trends and best practices in Total Rewards management to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Lead the benefits annual renewal process in the United States, including cost assessment and proposals for new programs or program changes. Support benefits programs in all other countries where e.l.f. does business
  • Lead annual open enrollment in the US, including communications and promotion of the Companys benefit programs
  • Manage annual equity refresh grant and quarterly equity grant process for all employees. Work directly with 3rd party administrator on grants and vests in equity administration system, currently Morgan Stanely/E*TRADE
  • Oversee the administration of leave of absence in partnership with external provider

PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $142,800.00-$174,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $111,000.00 - $206,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.
