Data and Reporting Specialist

Position Overview: CompTool is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data and Reporting Specialist to manage and optimize data exchanges with clients, ensuring data quality and compatibility within our software platform. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining our data integrity, supporting client needs, and enabling our internal teams with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will excel in data management, demonstrate strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, and show a keen interest in continuous learning.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Receive, format, and validate data from clients to ensure compatibility with CompTool’s software. Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues, collaborating with clients to resolve discrepancies that may hinder data loading.
  • Client Partnership: Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, offering expert recommendations to improve data quality and compatibility. Provide guidance to client HRIS teams on best practices for building reports and ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Data Quality Improvements: Work directly with clients to recommend improvements to their data handling processes, ensuring higher data integrity and optimizing compatibility with CompTool’s requirements.
  • Internal Reporting: Utilize reporting tools such as ThoughtSpot and HubSpot to generate insightful reports for leadership, customer success, and sales teams. These reports will inform strategic decisions and support team performance metrics.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with internal teams to understand data requirements and create reporting structures that support strategic objectives.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience with data management, formatting, and reporting, ideally in an HR or software environment.
  • High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like ThoughtSpot, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong time management skills, with a commitment to timeliness and punctuality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with HRIS systems or in a SaaS environment is a plus.
  • Background in client-facing roles, particularly in data support or technical support capacities.


Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 year

Business Development Specialist

Position Overview:  CompTool is seeking a results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal as the first point of contact for prospective clients, setting the stage for meaningful interactions and introducing them to the value of our solutions. The primary objective is to connect with prospects through phone and email outreach and schedule product demonstrations with our sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Outreach:

  1. Research and identify potential clients within target markets.
  2. Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods.
  3. Craft personalized messaging that effectively communicates CompTool’s value proposition and addresses potential client pain points.

Lead Qualification:

  1. Engage with prospects to understand their needs and determine if they align with CompTool’s offerings.
  2. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and pass them on to the sales team for further engagement.

Demo Scheduling:

  1. Secure and schedule product demonstration meetings for the sales team.
  2. Coordinate between prospects and sales representatives to ensure a smooth handoff.

CRM Management:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the company’s CRM system.
  2. Track lead progress and ensure follow-up communications are timely and effective.

Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with ongoing campaigns.
  2. Provide feedback on lead quality and share insights gained during prospect interactions to improve targeting strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a business development, sales, or similar client-facing role, preferably in SaaS or HR-related industries.
  2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Strong ability to connect with people, build rapport, and establish trust over the phone and email.
  4. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for achieving goals.
  5. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and email outreach platforms.

Salary Range:  $45,000 – $60,000/year

Customer Success Representative

Position Overview: CompTool is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Success Representative to join our client-focused team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience supporting organizations in compensation, exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency, and a technical aptitude. This client-facing role is essential in ensuring our clients are supported in managing their data and achieving success with our solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support and Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Proactively address client inquiries, concerns, and technical issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Provide guidance on using CompTool’s software effectively, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Data Management and Implementation Support:
  • Assist clients with uploading, organizing, and managing their data within the CompTool platform.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure data accuracy and compliance with their compensation structures.
  • Technical Troubleshooting:
  • Address technical challenges faced by clients, leveraging your technical background to deliver quick and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development and product teams) to resolve escalated issues.
  • Client Onboarding and Training:
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition to using CompTool’s platform.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance clients’ understanding and utilization of the software’s features.
  • Proactive Client Engagement:
  • Monitor client usage and engagement with the platform, identifying opportunities to provide additional support or recommend solutions.
  • Actively seek client feedback to inform product improvements and ensure satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration and Process Improvement:
