    Description<\/p>

    The Project Manager organizes each assigned project, manages all project work plan related tasks, leads and directs the technical resources, and collaborates with other key players to coordinate the activities of technical staff, users, and vendors. The Project Manager is responsible for meeting IS Department Project Management standards and maintaining a high quality of service, while producing project deliverables and delivering an assigned project on schedule and within budget.<\/p>

    Position-Related Duties:<\/p>

    \u2022 Prepares the Project Charter whereby the goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, organizational structure, staffing level, team organization, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure and deliverables are identified and defined.<\/p>

    \u2022 Manages the overall Project and its scheduled activities and ensures that resources are available and channeled to produce the planned deliverables on time and within the approved budget.<\/p>

    \u2022 Develops and manages Project Budgets which support the cost-effective implementation of IT strategies, tactics and operating plans.<\/p>

    \u2022 Organizes the Project team into appropriate work groups and works closely with the Business Lead, Technical Lead, and Test Lead to support and guide the entire Project team in their effort to achieve its business goals and produce deliverables within the specified time frames and financial constraints.<\/p>

    \u2022 Provides coaching and mentoring to project participants and leaders both outside and within the Project Management Office (PMO). Builds, maintains and improves guidance to project managers. Builds and maintains an inventory of project management best practices. (Internal and External).<\/p>

    \u2022 Leads or supports interdisciplinary teams in preparing and developing project related documents.<\/p>

    \u2022 Conducts stakeholder outreach and communication efforts related to the Project, including conducting Steering Committee meetings, preparing notification letters and other documents and incorporating stakeholder input into the Project\u2019s documents.<\/p>

    \u2022 Manages and measures Project performance against PMO expectations for Project Team.<\/p>

    \u2022 Establishes and implements a Project Communication Plan.<\/p>

    \u2022 Generates and maintains Project Status Reports to keep stakeholders informed on a consistent basis.<\/p>

    \u2022 Establishes and maintains central project repositories and Web site content for the use of all IS staff and corporate project stakeholders.<\/p>

    \u2022 Mediates and promotes problem solving capability and fosters collaboration between Project participants when project issues or problems occur. Customer and service minded on approaching issues.<\/p>

    \u2022 Monitors Project Scope and incorporates PMO Change Management process as needed. Ensures an impact analysis of any change request is completed. Ensures change requests with a significant impact on the Project are formally brought forward to the Project Team and Steering Committee for resolution.<\/p>
