POSITION SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>

Receive, unload, and process deliveries and account for incoming freight based on invoice and receiving reports. Stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs. Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy. Receive, store, ship, and deliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail. Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring safekeeping of packages. Follow all national, state, and local hazardous material shipping guidelines and regulations. Ship all out-going mail and packages. Verify quantity and condition of packages upon receipt prior to delivery to guest. Communicate with guest regarding received packages. Maintain accurate tracking system on all shipping and receiving transactions, including receiving guest signatures for received packages. Communicate with proper management regarding any loss or damage with packages.<\/p>

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and\/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Sunbelt Rentals the fastest growing rental business in Canada is seeking a Shipping\/Receiving Coordinator & Driver You!<\/p>

As a Shipping\/Receiving Coordinator & Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. Position Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>

  • Unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with materials to verify accuracy of shipment.<\/li>
  • Inspects incoming shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.<\/li>
  • Packaging \/ loading equipment for outbound shipments including wrapping of equipment to protect it from damages while in transit.<\/li>
  • Responsible for pulling parts orders as well as filling Transfer \/ Sales Orders.<\/li>
  • Make sure product is properly identified with part numbers \/ labels.<\/li>
  • Performs cycle counts for various floor locations.<\/li> <\/ul>

          Responsible for transporting product , completes proper documentation and prepares reports, stores products on rotating base, plans products delivery schedules, loads trucks and delivers products , and performs daily truck and trailers inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues.<\/p>

          • Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as trained<\/li>

                                  As the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will oversee the efficient management of our shipping and receiving operations. You will ensure accurate processing of shipments, maintain records, and facilitate smooth logistics to support our supply chain.<\/p>

                                  Key Responsibilities:<\/p>

                                  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including the scheduling of shipments and the receipt of incoming goods.<\/li>
                                  • Prepare and process weigh bills, shipping documents, and inventory reports.<\/li>
                                  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.<\/li>
                                  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of products.<\/li>
                                  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory audits as needed.<\/li>
                                  • Resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.<\/li>
                                  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.<\/li>
                                  • Implement best practices for shipping and receiving processes to improve efficiency.<\/li>
                                  • Will operate the forklift when required<\/li><\/ul>

                                    Qualifications<\/p>

                                    • Proven experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.<\/li>
                                    • Strong computer skills is required<\/li>
                                    • Familiarity with weigh bills and shipping documentation.<\/li>
                                    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>
                                    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>
                                    • Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.<\/li><\/ul>

                                      Job Type: Full-time<\/p>

                                      Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour<\/p>
