Job Description Summary<\/b><\/p>

Sunbelt Rentals the fastest growing rental business in Canada is seeking a Shipping\/Receiving Coordinator & Driver You!<\/p>
As a Shipping\/Receiving Coordinator & Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. Our double-digit growth and internal promotion rate mean we are constantly looking to add top performers to our team.<\/p>
Position Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p> - Unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with materials to verify accuracy of shipment.<\/li>
- Inspects incoming shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.<\/li>
- Packaging \/ loading equipment for outbound shipments including wrapping of equipment to protect it from damages while in transit.<\/li>
- Responsible for pulling parts orders as well as filling Transfer \/ Sales Orders.<\/li>
- Make sure product is properly identified with part numbers \/ labels.<\/li>
- Performs cycle counts for various floor locations.<\/li> <\/ul>
<\/p>
Education or experience that prepares you for success:<\/b><\/p> - Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred<\/li>
- Valid Drivers license with Class 5 Certification and acceptable driver's record<\/li> <\/ul>
<\/p>
Knowledge\/Skills\/Abilities you may rely on:<\/b><\/p> - 5 Ton Truck driving Experience<\/li>
- Prior training and\/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred<\/li>
- Experience with towing equipment ( film equipment, generators etc.)<\/li>
- Ability in performing physical duties (Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads equipment)<\/li>
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites<\/li>
- Customer service attitude<\/li> <\/ul>

Position Summary: <\/b><\/p>
Responsible for transporting product , completes proper documentation and prepares reports, stores products on rotating base, plans products delivery schedules, loads trucks and delivers products , and performs daily truck and trailers inspections to identify safety and maintenance issues.<\/p>
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p> - Verifies completed, vacuumed product, looking at product skus and validating customer requirements<\/li>
- Organizes loads for shipping, and loads trucks appropriately for customer delivery using forklift or electric pallet jack<\/li>
- Starts reefer units on trucks, preparing to hold product<\/li>
- Records required documentation pertinent to shipping and final product quality<\/li>
- Maintains and records proper temperature control of product<\/li>
- Run product through metal detector, before the final stage<\/li>
- Support Vacuum cooler duties as needed.<\/li>
- Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as trained<\/li>
- Completion of documentation per food safety and quality policy program<\/li>
- Checks battery of forklift weekly and fills if required<\/li>
- Temperature probe, to validate the temperate of the completed, vacuumed product.<\/li>
- Adheres to the Safety Policies, including use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment<\/li>
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned as required<\/li><\/ul>
Qualifications:<\/b><\/p> - Must be eligible to work in Canada<\/li>
- Must be at least 16 years of age<\/li>
- Must be able to drive a forklift<\/li>
- Prior forklift experience an asset<\/li><\/ul>
