Pharmacy Technician<\/b><\/p>

Who You Are:<\/b><\/p>
As a Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for collaborating with the Pharmacist, processing and filling prescriptions, managing inventory, dispensing medication, and ensuring each Curaleaf patient receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly experience.<\/p>
What You'll Do:<\/b><\/p> - Assist guests and patients with questions, maintain solid product knowledge, dosage information, and always provide the highest level of customer service.<\/li>
- Educate guests and patients on safe and responsible use of cannabis products<\/li>
- Assist in the preparation of cannabis products, adhering to regulatory guidelines<\/li>
- Collaborate with Pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing of products<\/li>
- Stay up to date in cannabis state laws and regulations<\/li>
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect<\/li>
- Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines<\/li>
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.<\/li>
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations<\/li>
- Perform other related work as required<\/li> <\/ul>
What You'll Bring:<\/b><\/p> - You must have had an active Pharmacy Technician registration in the state in which you are applying within the past five (5) years and is or was in good standing at the time their registration lapsed<\/b><\/li>
- You have at least 6 months of experience as pharmacy technician, cannabis experience is a plus<\/li>
- Knowledgeable of medication and dosage measurement, pharmacy law and medical terminology<\/li>
- An excellent communicator with outstanding customer service skill<\/li>
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail<\/li>
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience<\/li>
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in medical cannabis industry highly desirable, but not required<\/li> <\/ul>
<\/p>
Even Better If You Have:<\/b><\/p> A background in a sales role with a focus on tracking KPIs and meeting sales targets.<\/p><\/li>
Familiarity with e-commerce systems and order fulfillment processes.<\/p><\/li>
Previous experience within a regulated retail setting.<\/p><\/li> <\/ul>

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).<\/p>

Pharmacy Technician, Order Processing
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.
Retail Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications to the general public, in accordance with legal, ethical and professional guidelines; may also consult with and advise patients and physicians regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications.
The Pharmacy Technician, Order Processing plays an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities. This includes developing close relationships with patients in communities we serve and assisting the pharmacists in accurately preparing and delivering prescription medication.
Responsibilities
<\/strong><\/p>- Manage inbound calls and make outbound calls related to setting up orders, working with medical providers, patients, and other pharmacy staff to ensure patients receive their medication in a timely manner <\/li>
- Input patient data and prescription information into pharmacy information management system <\/li>
- Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders, as permitted by the State Boards of Pharmacy <\/li>
- As permitted by applicable state laws, take verbal prescription orders from licensed prescribers and transfer prescriptions between dispensing pharmacies <\/li>
- Review patient insurance coverage status and adjudicate claims for patient orders <\/li>
- Enter prescriptions in pharmacy system <\/li>
- Maintain knowledge of and abide by applicable pharmacy laws and regulations <\/li>
- Communicate with all customers (patients, clinics, caregivers, physicians) in a pleasant and professional manner
<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications
<\/strong>
