Job Duties:<\/dt>
Apple Pickers will be picking fruit from our orchard at least 5.5 days a week. Pickers will be asked to display a high degree of physical fitness and health. Picking will require being able to lift at least 50 pounds, walk long distance and bend or squat often to pick or empty picking bags. Apples will be picked using a picking bag that will be emptied into wood and plastic bins. Workers will be asked to use and move ladders to reach the tops of trees while picking. Once the bins are full, a picking quality inspector will mark the bins with a tag denoting who picked, what was picked, when it was pick and where was it picked. Pickers if needed may also be asked to help move full or empty bins with the use of a tractor Peters Orchards, Inc. guarantees that all workers will make $15.00 an hour. <\/dd> <\/div>
