Our approach to AI
Innovation without rigor is reckless
Before any AI feature launches, it is evaluated against three tests, and every feature is audited against CompTool’s security and compliance frameworks.
- Functional integrity
Does it deliver measurable value without introducing operational risk?
- Data security
Is customer data protected through every layer of processing and storage?
- Predictable outcomes
Does it perform reliably, without unintended consequences or model drift?
Your data and AI
Questions security teams ask
Does CompTool use our data to train its models?
No. CompTool does not use customer data, customer prompts or completions to train models.
Can users enter their own prompts?
No. CompTool’s AI uses private, confidential prompting designed for each task. You provide the information that informs a prompt, such as a job title or level, but you can’t enter prompts directly.
Does CompTool’s AI analyze employee data?
No. CompTool’s AI does not touch your employee data, and no personally identifiable information is processed by it.
Does CompTool have a zero data retention policy?
Not at this time. Customer data is not used to train models, customers can’t enter prompts, and the AI never touches PII. All customer data is deleted according to CompTool’s data deletion and retention policies.
