As part of that work it runs an annual survey of private company board members and publishes director pay and governance data from it, and it also prepares custom pay comparisons for individual clients.

- Board members and executives of companies with a private board are invited to answer the annual survey at no cost, and participants get an early free copy of the summary report. Full annual reports are bought from the Lodestone online shop under a single-user license; custom peer-group reports are arranged by contacting the firm.
